Southern Cross Gold Consolidated (ASX:SX2) said results from three diamond drill holes at the Apollo prospect, at the Sunday Creek gold-antimony project in Victoria, showed continuity of high-grade mineralization at depth, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It reported a significant intercept of 100.5 meters at 3.1 grams per tonne grade of gold from 820.8 meters. Three drill holes intercepted mineralization 80 meters to 120 meters below known mineralization, the filing said.

20 additional holes at the project are currently being processed and analyzed, while seven more holes are actively being drilled.
