Synaptics Launches Wi-Fi 7 Systems-on-Chips for Internet of Things

Synaptics (SYNA) said Monday it is launching its first Wi-Fi 7 systems-on-chips for the Internet of Things, with the new offerings comprising the SYN4390 and SYN4384.

The company said the new products support bandwidths of up to 320 megahertz to provide a peak speed of 5.8 gigabits per second and "are designed to minimize system cost and power consumption."
