The Kita-Nippon Bank (TYO:8551) established a new subsidiary, Kitagin Capital Partners, set to begin operations in July, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The fully owned subsidiary will focus on investment activities aimed at supporting local companies with business succession and enhancing corporate value.
This move aligns with the bank's medium-term plan, Branding the Kitagin Quality 2027, and aims to contribute to regional revitalization in the Iwate-Tohoku area by growing investee companies and preserving local employment.
