Westpac Banking's Half-Year Profit Impacted by Hedging Losses

Westpac Banking (ASX:WBC, NZE:WBC) said its reported net profit after tax in the first half of the year will be reduced by AU$140 million due to losses from hedging items, which it said would reverse over time, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The bank will announce its half-year results on May 5.
