Major digital assets were mostly lower late afternoon Monday with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) hovering below $95,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 0.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.2%, the S&P 500 was up 0.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.4%.
Bitcoin rose 0.5% to $94,894, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 79% to $32.6 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, decreased 0.5% to $1,797.
XRP (XRP-USD) gained 1.5%, BNB (BNB-USD) lost 0.04%, while Solana (SOL-USD) fell 1%.
Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) dropped 1.5%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 0.7%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.216% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, down from 4.264% Friday, while the five-year yield dropped to 3.816% from 3.884%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.4% in the past 24 hours to $2.97 trillion with trading volume gaining 51% to $91 billion.
