　　伯克希尔保险业务负责人阿吉特・贾恩表示，他始终处于 “随时待命” 状态，以便能 “迅速抓住” 任何与人工智能相关的机遇

　　当被问及人工智能改变保险行业的能力时，阿吉特・贾恩承认，这项技术可能会 “真正改变游戏规则”，影响保险行业目前评估、定价和销售风险的方式，以及处理理赔的方式。

　　但贾恩称，在面对任何有关新技术的宏大宣称时，伯克希尔采取的是更为谨慎的态度。

　　“我当然也觉得，人们最终往往会投入大量资金，试图追逐下一个新的时尚潮流，” 他说，“在成为最快的行动者或第一个吃螃蟹的人方面，我们并不擅长。我们的做法更多的是先观望，直到机会明朗化，并且在失败风险、上行空间和下行风险方面，我们能有更清晰的认识。”

　　不过，贾恩补充道，一旦合适的机会出现，伯克希尔会毫不犹豫地进行投资。

　　“目前，各个保险业务部门确实在涉足人工智能领域，试图找出利用它的最佳方式，但我们还没有有意识地大力投入大量资金到这个机遇中，” 他还表示，“我认为我们会做好准备，一旦这样的机会出现，我们就能迅速行动起来。”
