Aurora Cannabis Completes Upgrade, Renaming of British Columbia Facility

Aurora Cannabis (ACB) said Wednesday it completed a CA$3 million ($2.2 million) investment in upgrades to its manufacturing facility in Pemberton, British Columbia.

The company also renamed the former Whistler Medical Marijuana Company site to Aurora Alpine.

The improvements combine Aurora's proprietary genetics and engineering design to boost cultivation conditions, output, and product quality, according to the company.

Shares of Aurora Cannabis were down 2.4% in recent trading.
