Venus Metals (ASX:VMC) partnered with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization on a study at the Sandstone project in Western Australia under the science agency's Kick-Start program, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company has been approved for a AU$47,426 Kick-Start program voucher, the filing said.
The collaboration will integrate hyperspectral satellite earth observation imagery with HyLogger-3 hyperspectral downhole imagery, improving the targeting of alteration mineralogy linked with gold and copper exploration, per the filing.
Shares of Venus Metals fell 2% in afternoon trade Friday.
