马斯克牛皮吹破！特斯拉Cybertruck续航扩展包被取消：将返还定金

曾记否？特斯拉在2019年发布Cybertruck时，马斯克大胆承诺三电机版本将提供高达500英里（约805公里）的续航里程，使其成为市面上续航最长的电动车之一。
然而，2023年末发布的量产车型却远未达到这一承诺，其中双电机全轮驱动版Cybertruck的续航仅为325英里（约524公里），而主打性能的“Cyberbeast”版本则只有301英里（约484公里），这比最初承诺的少了近40%，促使特斯拉提出了续航扩展包作为解决方案。
所谓续航扩展包，本质上其实是一块额外的电池组，售价高达16000美元（当前约11.5万元人民币），需由经销商安装，会占用皮卡货箱大约三分之一的空间，早期宣传称可将续航提升至470英里，但后续被下调至445英里。
尽管价格不菲，仍有不少用户选择支付定金，在2024年2月的一次非官方调查中，约有25%的Cybertruck车主表示他们为续航拓展电池支付了定金，金额最初为500美元，后升至2000美元，且不予退款。
上个月，有车主发现，特斯拉已悄然将Cybertruck的官方续航拓展电池从其在线配置选项中移除，引发猜测和不少下定车主的不安。
近日，特斯拉确认取消这个选配，且已通过电子邮件通知客户：“不再计划为Cybertruck销售续航扩展包，并将全额退还定金”，这也意味着特斯拉在发布时承诺的Cybertruck将会有500英里续航无法兑现。
