Michael Saylor, co-founder and executive chairman of Strategy Inc. MSTR, hinted on Sunday that the firm's Bitcoin BTC/USD buying streak would continue in the new week.
What happened: Saylor posted a chart that tracks the company's Bitcoin purchases on X, with the caption, "Too much blue, not enough orange."
By now, cryptocurrency observers have grown accustomed to Saylor’s cryptic Sunday posts, which have almost always preceded Bitcoin purchases the following Monday.
Last week, the Bitcoin treasury company acquired 15,355 BTC for approximately $1.42 billion, at an average buying price of $92,737 per Bitcoin.
As of this writing, Strategy’s Bitcoin stockpile has grown to 553,555 BTCs, worth nearly $52.4 billion, with an unrealized profit of 38%, according to bitcointreasuries.com.

Why It Matters: The firm reported financial results for the first quarter last week, with revenue missing analyst expectations. It achieved a "BTC Yield" of 11% in the first quarter and raised its 2025 BTC Yield target to 25%, up from 15%.
BTC Yield refers to the percentage increase in Bitcoin ownership per share of the company’s stock. It is used to gauge the effectiveness of the firm's fundraising strategy to support further BTC purchases.
Strategy also doubled its capital-raising plan to $84 billion—$21 billion through equity financing and $21 billion through fixed-income securities— to purchase Bitcoin.
Price Action: At the time of writing, Bitcoin was exchanging hands at $94,566.25, down 1.09% in the last 24 hours, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
Shares of Strategy closed 3.35% higher at $394.37 during Friday's regular session. The stock gained 5.95% last week and over 47% in a month.
