Bega Cheese (ASX:BGA) is consolidating its Strathmerton cheese processing and packaging operations in Victoria into its existing site at Ridge Street in Bega, New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The consolidation is projected to result in cost savings of AU$30 million per year, the filing said.
The Strathmerton site is expected to undergo a phased closure by mid-2026, according to the filing.
