Honda Motor's Full-Year Profit Falls 25%

Honda Motor (TYO:7267) profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 25% to 835.8 billion yen for the fiscal year ended March 31 from 1.107 trillion yen a year ago.

The automotive group's earnings per share fell to 178.93 yen from 225.88 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on May 13.

Net sales jumped 6.2% to 21.7 trillion yen from 20.4 trillion yen a year earlier.

It declared a final dividend of 34.00 yen per share for the fiscal year, payable from June 5.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects attributable profit to decline to 250 billion yen, EPS to come in at 62.84 yen, and net sales to slip to 20.3 trillion yen.

The company also projects to pay second-quarter and year-end dividends of 35.00 yen per share each.
