消息面上，近日，招商局港口发布公告，宣布与Ocean Offshore签署了一项结构性租赁协议。根据结构性租赁协议，HIPG同意向Ocean Offshore转让设备的所有法律及实益权利、所有权及权益，而Ocean Offshore同意接纳及获授设备的所有法律及实益权利、所有权及权益，借以让Ocean Offshore其后于租赁期内即时将设备回租予HIPG。
公告称，集团的核心业务包括港口及港口相关业务。集团的目标是透过提供货物管理服务及扩大集装箱相关物流服务，借以巩固及发展其港口业务及港口相关业务。HIPG于汉班托塔国际港从事集装箱处理业务。为保障其生产经营以及拓宽融资渠道，加强融资保障，HIPG需要新的融资安排。经比较各融资租赁机构提供的条款后，董事会认为结构性租赁协议项下的条款及条件对集团整体而言最为有利。
