1906 ET [Dow Jones]--Jack in the Box is looking to add new menu items and reintroduce old favorites as it seeks to boost slumping sales, executives say during the company's earnings call. Chief Customer and Digital Officer Ryan Ostrom says the company will lean into box meals after seeing them fare well for its competitors, and also plans to release two new flavors of curly fries to drive up sales per ticket as well as encourage customers to make an extra visit to try something new. For the Del Taco brand's upcoming menu additions, the company is looking back at initiatives it pursued in the past, executives say, suggesting it will reintroduce some items. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
