Adds Aeva Technologies, Carlyle Group, TenneT and Acea

May 14 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2039 GMT on Wednesday:

** Aeva Technologies AEVA.O, a firm founded by former Apple AAPL.O engineers that makes sensors used in factories and self-driving vehicles, said it had sold a 6% stake for $50 million to an unnamed strategic partner that will also handle some of its manufacturing in the future. nL6N3RM0UC

** U.S. private equity group Carlyle Group is expected to clinch in the coming days an accord to sell Italian fashion brand Twinset to local investment firms Borletti Group and Quadrivio, two sources close to the matter said on Wednesday. nL8N3RM1X4

** State-owned Dutch power grid operator TenneT has kicked off talks with investors about the sale of a minority stake in its German division, four people familiar with the matter said, in what could become one of Europe's largest deals in 2025. nL8N3RM0L4

** Italy's regional utility Acea ACE.MI is considering bidding for the assets to be divested by gas distributor Italgas IG.MI after its acquisition of smaller peer 2i Rete Gas, Acea's CFO said. nS8N3OK0D6

** Databricks said it would buy database startup Neon in a deal valued at about $1 billion, aiming to strengthen its analytics platform with technology that can help businesses develop and use artificial intelligence agents more easily. nL4N3RM0VA

** Carlyle Group CG.O and SK Capital Partners increased their upfront offer to take over gene therapy maker bluebird bio BLUE.O, the companies said on Wednesday.nL4N3RM153

** Parcel locker company InPost <INPST.AS> has partnered British online fashion retailer ASOS <ASOS.L> to introduce a next-day out-of-home (OOH) delivery service, InPost said on Monday. nL1N3RK07U

** TotalEnergies <TTEF.PA> said it had signed an agreement to sell 50% of Polish biogas producer Polska Grupa Biogazowa to Norwegian investment company HitecVision. nL6N3RM0IU

** Thai business magnate Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi's Frasers Property FRPL.SI made a second attempt to take complete control of Frasers Hospitality Trust FRHO.SI in a deal valuing the REIT at S$1.37 billion ($1.1 billion). nL4N3RM0BI

** Australia's Insignia Financial IFL.AX said that Bain Capital has pulled its buyout offer due to volatile financial markets, but the money manager added it was still in talks with another suitor, investment manager CC Capital. nL4N3RL27D

** GSK GSK.L will buy efimosfermin, a liver disease drug in late-stage trials, for up to $2 billion from U.S. biotechnology firm Boston Pharmaceuticals, the British drugmaker said. nL4N3RM0I5

** MFE-MediaForEurope MFEB.MI, the TV broadcaster controlled by Italy's Berlusconi family, is considering raising its offer for Germany's ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE, a source close to the matter said. nL8N3RM0AU

** Private equity firm GTCR has signed a definitive agreement to acquire UK insurance broker JMG Group, in partnership with existing investor Synova. nL6N3RL0SA

** Samsung Electronics 005930.KS said it had agreed to buy Germany's FlaktGroup for 1.5 billion euros ($1.68 billion) as it looks to meet growing demand for cooling of data centres used for artificial intelligence projects. nL1N3RL1GF
