The collaboration aims to support the construction of a new uranium enrichment facility designed to produce High Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU). This partnership is set to address the global supply chain challenges in nuclear fuel by leveraging advanced enrichment technologies developed by ASP Isotopes and South African universities. The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs locally and support thousands more across a global manufacturing supply chain. TerraPower has committed to providing a multiple advance term loan for the facility's construction in South Africa, with additional non-dilutive funding being sought from financial institutions.
