Mapletree Logistics Trust Issues Units to Manager as Base Fee

Mapletree Logistics Trust (SGX:M44U) issued 8,415,976 new units at SG$1.3078 per unit to its manager as payment of services rendered for the period from Jan. 1 to March 31, according to a Friday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

A total of 7,301,500 units were issued as payment of part of the base fee in respect of certain properties, while 1,114,476 units were issued as part of the property management fee and lease management fee.

The manager and property manager have nominated Mulberry to receive these units.

Following the issuance of these new units, Mulberry holds 871,922,416 units while the manager holds 6,290,361 units.

Shares of the trust were down nearly 2% in recent trading.
