Saudi Arabia's Sabic Exploring Gas Business IPO, Bloomberg Says, Citing Unnamed Sources

-- Saudi Basic Industries Corporation--also known as Sabic--is exploring an initial public offering for its gas business amid a broader operational review, Bloomberg said, citing unnamed sources.

-- The Saudi Arabian chemicals giant is in early-stage talks with potential advisers, including Lazard Inc, HSBC Holdings, JPMorgan Chase & Co and Morgan Stanley, according to Bloomberg.

-- Representatives for Lazard, HSBC, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley declined to comment and Sabic did not respond to a request for comment, Bloomberg said.
