Emperor Capital Group (HKG:0717) recorded a 35% rise in profit attributable to the owners in fiscal first half to HK$56.1 million from HK$41.6 million a year prior, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Basic earnings per share rose to HK$0.0083 in the six months ended March 31 from HK$0.0062 in the same period of the last fiscal year.
The financial services provider's revenue surged 117% to HK$402.6 million from HK$185.4 million in the year-ago period, mainly due to the firm's efforts to develop the wealth solutions business.
