St Barbara (ASX:SBM) confirmed that the optimal development approach for the integration of the Cochrane Hill project in Canada with the 15-Mile processing hub is a 3 million tonnes per annum processing plant at 15-Mile following a concept study, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company plans to transport mill feed from Beaver Dam and Cochrane Hill via road to the processing hub in its fourth and sixth operating years, the filing said.

Environmental baseline monitoring and community engagement are ongoing, with trade-off studies guiding the advancement of a pre-feasibility study set to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, per the filing.
