CHICAGO, June 11 (Reuters) - Spot soybean and corn basis bids were mostly steady at U.S. Midwest river terminals, grain elevators and processing facilities on Wednesday, with a few exceptions, according to a spot check of locations.
The soybean basis lost 5 cents at a processor in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The corn basis increased by 5 cents at a grain elevator, also in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Temperatures have been well below normal in the U.S. Midwest, according to weather forecaster Vaisala, slowing germination and early growth of corn and soybeans. But the forecaster said rains will become more widespread in the region in the next 6-15 days.
