EQ Resources (ASX:EQR) said that preliminary bulk sample testing at its Wolfram Camp project in Far North Queensland demonstrated strong potential for tungsten recovery from existing and historical stockpiles, according to a June 13 filing with the Australian bourse.

The program tested two bulk samples, the WBS Parrot and the WBS Combined, using advanced X-ray transmission ore sorting, along with screening, sizing, and assaying, the filing said.

The WBS Parrot showed strong upgrade potential for tungsten, while the WBS Combined sample highlighted additional value from recoverable tungsten, the filing said.

Further assay certification and interpretation are in progress, with additional testing planned at the project, the company said.
