BlockBeats 消息，6 月 13 日，京东集团首席经济学家沈建光和京东集团高级研究总监朱太辉在国务院发展研究中心主办的中国经济时报刊文《以离岸人民币稳定币助推人民币国际化》，文章指出发行人民币稳定币是顺应全球稳定币发展趋势的需要，应对美国加密货币新政的手段，加快推进人民币国际化的新抓手。发展离岸人民币稳定币是缓释“数字货币桥”发展不确定性影响的重要手段，且不会影响内地的货币政策调控和跨境资本管理。
在发展节奏上采用渐进式模式，在香港积累经验和完善机制后，按照“先境外离岸再境内离岸”的模式，从香港地区逐步向内地自贸区和自贸港推广，从而不断强化对人民币国际化的支撑作用。为了实现风险可控，使用人群可以先限定机构客户和“合格投资者”，之后再逐步向零售用户、普通大众开放使用。（中国经济时报）
