消息面上，近日，石药集团发布公告，该集团已与全球生物制药领导者Astra Zeneca订立战略研发合作协议，以利用集团的AI引擎双轮驱动的高效药物发现平台，发现和开发新型口服小分子候选药物。该平台使用AI技术分析靶向蛋白与现有化合物分子的结合模式，并进行针对性优化，旨在筛选出高效且具有优异开发潜力的小分子。
根据该协议的条款，该集团同意为Astra Zeneca所选定的多个靶点发现具有多适应症疾病治疗潜力的临床前候选药物(PCC)，包括一种用于免疫疾病的临床前小分子口服疗法。
对于每个PCC项目，Astra Zeneca将有权行使选择权，以获得全球范围内开发、生产和商业化的独家授权。该集团将收取1.1亿美元的预付款，并有权收取最高16.2亿美元的潜在研发里程碑付款和最高36.0亿美元的潜在销售里程碑付款，以及基于有关产品年净销售额的潜在个位数销售提成。
