Aurora Opens Medical Cannabis Access to More Canadian Consumers -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

1127 ET - Aurora Cannabis is opening up its compassionate pricing program in Canada to more people, which should help broaden its customer reach. Aurora expanded its program where patients earning less than C$60,000 annually are now eligible for a 30% discount on all ACB's medical cannabis, compared with a previous C$40,000 annually cutoff. TD Cowen's Derek Lessard says this improves medical cannabis affordability for out-of-pocket patients, especially in the current economic environment where consumers are more cautious. "We believe this move also helps ACB expand its customer base and take share in the Canadian medical market," Lessard says. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
