2025年6月28日至29日，中国人民银行行长潘功胜出席国际清算银行（BIS）在瑞士巴塞尔举行的行长例会和年度股东大会。与会央行行长就国际经济金融形势、新型支付工具对传统金融体系和货币主权的影响、贸易政策不确定性带来的挑战等问题进行了交流。

　　会议期间，潘功胜行长与国际清算银行总经理卡斯滕斯、韩国央行行长李昌镛、加拿大央行行长麦克莱姆、印度尼西亚央行行长瓦吉约、丹麦央行行长汤姆森、格鲁吉亚央行行长特尔纳瓦以及金融稳定学院主席雷斯托伊举行了双边会见。
