Beetaloo Energy Australia (ASX:BTL) said oil service company Halliburton completed hydraulic stimulation on its Carpentaria-5H well in Beetaloo Basin exploration permit 187 in the Northern Territory, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is scheduled to conduct a coiled tubing run to clean out the wellbore and initial flow back, followed by shut-in for soak until mid-August, with flow testing starting after the soak period, the filing said.
Shares fell 2% in midday trade Tuesday and earlier reached their highest since September 2024.
