消息面上，当地时间7月9日，美联储公布了利率决策机构联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）6月17日至18日议息会议的会议纪要。纪要显示，与会美联储官员对未来货币政策走向出现分歧，但大多数成员评估认为，今年可能适合降息。此外，兴业证券指，中国银行股与全球其他银行相比具备稳定分红的特征，内地主要银行近三年股利支付率均稳定在30%左右水平，中银香港和和恒生银行能够稳定在50%以上水平，增强股东回报的可预见性和确定性。
公开资料显示，中银香港是香港本土三大发钞银行之一，也是唯一的人民币业务清算行，在人民币国际化进程中保持稳固地位。公司确立了以香港为中心、大湾区和东南亚协同驱动的三地业务联动发展战略。
