智通财经APP获悉，福特汽车(F.US)和德国员工代表周五宣布，福特汽车已同意在其科隆工厂实施一项涵盖超过1万名员工的就业保护计划，该计划允许公司进行自愿裁员，以应对电动汽车销量不佳的情况。
福特正在欧洲进行艰难的重组工作，其在科隆工厂的裁员以及即将关闭萨尔路易工厂，对德国作为汽车制造中心的声誉造成了新的打击。
福特在一份声明中表示，该框架有效期至2032年，其中包括公司去年11月宣布的裁员2900人的计划。
工会主席Benjamin Gruschka在一份声明中表示：“此次裁员主要是基于自愿离职的方式。遣散费非常慷慨，而且比汽车行业的常规水平要高得多。”
德国金属工业联合会(IG Metall)表示，科隆工厂的生产前景仍不明朗，但对就业保护计划表示欢迎。
福特投资20亿美元将其科隆工厂改造成电动汽车生产中心，并呼吁德国政府提供更多激励措施和更好的充电基础设施，以帮助驾驶员过渡到电动汽车。
IG Metall 表示，科隆工厂的协议包括为受裁员影响的员工提供与公司其他部门愿意离职的员工交换职位的选择。
该协议仍需经过工人投票批准。
