据《明报》引述消息人士指，港交所(00388.HK) 正就明年推行无纸证券市场，研究推出新收费模式，初步建议将股票托管费及提取费由现行的按每手计算，改为按券商持货值计算，并新设中央结算会员费。
消息又指，港交所正对券商开展非正式咨询，建议新增的会员费分为三级，持货值少于5亿元年费约为1.8万元，介乎5亿至200亿元年费达约5万元，而持货200亿元以上收费为约15万元。股票提取费预料改为按货值0.015%收取，托管费每年比率则介乎0.0008%至0.0065%，持有货值愈高，费率愈低。
