0328 GMT - OpenAI and Oracle's data center expansion could bode well for Foxconn Technology Group, Daiwa analysts say in a research note. Orcale and OpenAI will develop 4.5 gigawatts of additional Stargate data center capacity in the U.S. The project will run on over 2 million chips, which could translate into 28,000 of Nvidia's NVL72 systems, they say. "We believe it would be a short-term positive catalyst for vendors within Nvidia's supply chain," including Foxconn, they add. Daiwa expects NVL72 shipment to exceed 50,000 units in 2026, compared to its estimate of 21,000 units in 2025. Shares are last at NT$1,135.00. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
