Global Lithium Says Drilling Results Support Potential Gold Discovery at Western Australia Project; Shares Fall 7%

Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) said drilling at its Marble Bar project area in Western Australia supported the potential for a gold discovery to be made in the area, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results included one meter at 5.07 grams per tonne gold from 191 meters, the filing said.

The program was completed within budget, with 50% of the costs covered by a government grant, the filing added.

Shares of the company fell 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
