0608 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly lower, with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.1% at around 2544. U.S. stock markets closed close to zero on Friday, despite the S&P 500 hitting a new all-time high of 6316 earlier in the day, SEB senior economist Robert Bergqvist writes. "Overall, solid interim reports, an absence of--so far--clear price and demand effects from Trump's trade war and the doorway for lower Fed rates are helping to consolidate stock market valuations." Tokyo is closed today, but the yen has strengthened somewhat despite the unclear political situation, he adds. Stock markets in Asia early Monday--and U.S. and European stock market futures--show small and cautious movements. OMXS30 closed at 2546.70, OMXN40 at 2311.52 and OBX at 1538.72.
