FAR Receives $11.5 Million Provisional 2024 Contingent Payment from Woodside Regarding Senegal Joint Venture Stake Sale

FAR (ASX:FAR) said it received a provisional 2024 contingent payment from Woodside Energy (ASX:WDS) of $11.5 million during the June quarter related to the sale of its interest in Rufisque Offshore, Sangomar Offshore, and Sangomar Deep Offshore (RSSD) joint venture in Senegal to Woodside, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
It had received rights to a contingent payment with a maximum value of $55 million.
It said it is continuing to engage with Woodside Energy (Senegal) BV, the operator of the joint venture in Senegal, regarding a claim of AU$6 million relating to FAR's 2021 sale of its interest in the project.
