中银香港完成金管局Cargo X专家小组的首批创新案例，透过与农本方及加多餐日本食品的合作，验证中医药材及食品进口等不同场景下货运物流及进出口报关等数据在贸易业务中的应用。该行作为首批引入港口社区系统数据的银行，与香港特区政府运输及物流局、物流及供应链多元技术研发中心合作，探索以该系统内的货运物流数据替代部分传统纸质货运证明文件，推动数码贸易融资发展。
中银香港在取得企业授权后，可通过港口社区系统获取企业在内地及香港的进出口报关讯息、运输资讯等即时、可靠的物流货运数据。该等数据将可应用于贸易融资审核以提升贸易融资流程效率，或应用于优化线上贸易服务，为企业提供更优质、高效的贸易融资体验。
运输及物流局局长陈美宝表示，当局正展开试行计划，与业界共同探讨如何善用系统上的数据进行“货流验证”，协助金融机构及中小企减低信贷成本及审批时间，以期促进香港航运及贸易发展。
物流及供应链多元技术研发中心(LSCM)首席执行官黄广扬指，凭借是次经验，未来将持续优化系统的设计，实现货物生态系统中的数据互通，强化供应链金融协作，充分发挥港口社区系统带来的机遇。
