American West Metals (ASX:AW1) found high-grade copper mineralization during a recent drilling at its Storm Copper Project in Canada, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 12.2 meters at 1.9% copper and 77 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from 19.8 meters, including 4.6 meters at 3.2% copper and 129 g/t silver from 27.4 meters.
The company has completed initial reverse circulation drill holes at the Corona, Thunder, Lightning Ridge Deposits, and The Gap Prospect, where drilling results support resource upgrade and expansion potential, the filing added.
