Jade Gas Holdings (ASX:JGH) said it achieved gas flow to surface from its second production well at the Tavantolgoi coal bed methane project in Mongolia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The well was brought online on June 9, and gas has now been flared from the well. A small constant back pressure will be maintained on the casing, and the downhole pump speed will be managed by the field operations team to continue to lower the fluid level and flowing bottom hole pressure in the well.

The first and second production wells will be made to achieve stable, continuous production and will be subjected to further gas flaring and water pump rate adjustments, the firm said.
