W-Scope's (TYO:6619) wholly-owned subsidiary, W-SCOPE KOREA, has signed a long-term supply agreement with POSCO Argentina valued at 5.6 billion yen.
The agreement covers the supply of BPED substacks (ion exchange membrane stack modules) for a lithium refining plant in Argentina from 2025 to 2027, according to its Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
The deal addresses replacement demand for these components, which are expected to be replaced approximately every two years.
The revenue will be recognized using the percentage-of-completion method over the contract period and has been factored into the current fiscal year's financial results.
