BlockBeats 消息，9 月 3 日，人工智能巨头 OpenAI 周二确认进行高管团队重组，新设应用首席技术官一职，并以 11 亿美元收购产品分析公司 Statsig。被收购的 Statsig 公司专精于 A/B 测试等产品优化服务，其创始人兼首席执行官维贾伊·拉吉（Vijaye Raji）将加入 OpenAI 担任应用首席技术官，直接向应用业务首席执行官菲吉·西莫（Fidji Simo）汇报。
西莫于 8 月 18 日辞去生鲜配送平台 Instacart 首席执行官职务后加盟 OpenAI。OpenAI 在公告中表示：“交易完成后，Statsig 员工将并入 OpenAI 团队，该公司将继续保持独立运营并从西雅图总部为现有客户提供服务。”(金十)
