Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. announced that the Group's total sales volume for August 2025 reached 250,167 units, marking a significant increase of approximately 38% compared to the same period last year. The brand Geely itself saw a 46% increase in sales with 205,324 units sold this August compared to 140,686 units last year. Notably, the Galaxy sub-brand experienced a remarkable 173% growth, selling 110,666 units compared to 40,598 units in August 2024. On the other hand, ZEEKR experienced a slight decline of 2%, with sales dropping from 18,015 units last year to 17,626 units this year. Over the first eight months of 2025, the cumulative sales volume reached 1,897,064 units, representing a year-over-year increase of 47% compared to 1,287,741 units in the same period last year. Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) saw a notable increase of 98%, with 93,362 units sold in August 2025, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) sales grew by 90% to 53,985 units. Proton, a part of the Group, also reported a sales volume of 15,300 units in August 2025, reflecting an 8% rise from the previous year. In the first eight months of 2025, Proton's cumulative sales volume was 106,606 units, marking a slight year-over-year increase of approximately 1.2%.
