Chinese solar, battery and electric vehicle companies have pledged more than $210 billion in overseas investments since 2022, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing research from Johns Hopkins University's Net Zero Industrial Policy Lab.

The research found that over 80% of the more than 460 green manufacturing projects since 2011 were announced after 2022, according to the report.

Companies such as CATL (SHE:300750, HKG:3750), BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) and Trina Solar (SHA:688599) are expanding in more than 50 countries, Bloomberg wrote.
