MCC's Newly Signed Contracts Fall 18% from January-August

Metallurgical of China or MCC's (HKG:1618, SHA:601618) value of newly signed contracts stood at 679.6 billion yuan from January to August, down 18% from a year prior, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Of the total, newly signed overseas contracts rose 8.9% to 64.2 billion yuan.

In August alone, the engineering construction firm signed three new contracts worth more than 1 billion yuan each.
