消息面上，据媒体报道，紫金矿业旗下国际黄金开采子公司拟在香港进行的首次公开募股(IPO)可能募资超过30亿美元，有望成为今年全球规模第二大上市交易。知情人士表示，紫金黄金国际的上市融资规模和时间仍有可能发生变化，相关讨论还在进行中。其中一位知情人士称，上市最快可能于本月进行，由于金价徘徊在历史高位附近，投资者对本次IPO的兴趣异常强烈。
中信建投此前指出，紫金黄金国际港股上市进程或加速。本次分拆上市恰逢黄金价格上行周期，有利于推动公司黄金资产价值重估。此外，有望推进公司国际化进程、拓宽国际优质投资者渠道、提升境外资本市场融资和并购交易中的竞争力和灵活性。
