The Environmental Group (ASX:EGL), through its EGL Baltec division, has secured a AU$9.3 million contract to supply two large gas turbine exhaust systems for the 800 megawatt Manzanillo Energy Consortium power plant in the Dominican Republic, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The contract covers engineering, design, and delivery work scheduled over the next 12 months, with completion anticipated by September 2026, the filing said.

The systems, equipped with the company's cutting-edge silencer technology, are designed to enable peaking operations while complying with stringent noise and performance requirements, per the filing.

The latest contract win raises EGL Baltec's total value of contracts secured this year to AU$19.7 million, the filing added.
