Foresight News 消息，据加密记者 Eleanor Terrett 披露，白宫正在考虑任命前商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）委员 Jill Sommers 或国家信用合作社管理局（NCUA）主席 Kyle Hauptman 担任 CFTC 主席一职。两位候选人均被认为是支持加密货币的。Sommers 曾在咨询公司 Patomak Global Partners 工作 10 年，该公司由前美国证券交易委员会（SEC）委员 Paul Atkins 创立，两人关系密切。Hauptman 是 NCUA 第 13 任主席，此前曾在投资银行 Jefferies 担任高级副总裁，负责美国国债和期货交易。
