Sun Hing Printing (HKG:1975) reported a loss attributable to owners of HK$88.6 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, reversing a profit of HK$17.1 million a year earlier, according to a Sept. 26 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm gained nearly 6% in Monday's mid-day trade.
Loss per share came in at HK$0.1847, compared with earnings per share of HK$0.0357 in fiscal 2024.
Revenue declined to HK$218.3 million from HK$296.2 million.
The board recommended a special dividend of HK$0.010 per share to mark the group's 50th anniversary and a final dividend of HK$0.025 per share, subject to shareholder approval.
The proposed dividends are expected to be distributed on Dec. 22 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 4.
