Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) executed a binding earn-in agreement to acquire the Comet exploration project in Western Australia from Accelerate Resources (ASX:AX8), according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The firm will consolidate all available historical exploration data into the Expedio-CRS drill hole database. This validated dataset will then be integrated into the MicroMine Co-Pilot artificial intelligence platform to model the results and refine known zones of gold mineralization.

Validated targets will then be advanced to drill testing.

Caprice will provide an initial consideration of AU$50,000 in cash and AU$200,000 worth of shares. Accelerate Resources will retain a 25% interest in the project, free carried through to the completion of a prefeasibility study.

Caprice's shares fell over 3% in recent trading on Monday, while those of Accelerate fell 13%.
