10月7日，招商工业金陵船厂与德国TT-Line公司在欧洲举行1+1艘第二代绿色客滚船意向书签署仪式。这是双方围绕新一代高端客滚船的设计、建造展开的再次携手合作，首次合作始于2018年，TT-Line首次将造船计划放到欧洲以外的市场，2022年“NILS HOLGERSSON”号和“PETER PAN”号的顺利交付，在TT-Line公司的德国、波兰、立陶宛和瑞典航线的高效贸易中，“NILS HOLGERSSON”号和“PETER PAN”号已取得了良好的业绩证明。

相较于第一代，即将建造的TT-Line第二代绿色客滚船在核心性能与参数上将实现全方位升级，新船船长将达到约240米，可容纳乘客1000人；一些特征，如液化天然气混合推进概念将使这艘船成为环保和营运效率的新标杆。
