China Datang Renewable Power's September Output Little Changed; Shares Fall 5%

China Datang Renewable Power (HKG:1798) generated about 2.37 million megawatt-hours of electricity in September, little changed from a year earlier, according to an Oct. 17 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the firm fell nearly 5% in Monday's late-morning trade.

Wind power output fell 11.4% year-on-year to 1.86 million megawatt-hours, while photovoltaic generation surged 84.9% to 508,250 megawatt-hours.

As of Sept. 30, total power generation for 2025 reached 25.89 million megawatt-hours, up 11.7% from the same period last year.

Wind output rose 7.4% to 21.84 million megawatt-hours in the nine months to September, while solar generation jumped 42.2% to 4.05 million megawatt-hours.
