Market Chatter: Santos CFO Resigned After Clash of 'Leadership Style' With CEO, The Australian Says

MT Newswires Live
Oct 21

Santos' (ASX:STO) former Chief Financial Officer Sherry Duhe said she resigned from her position because she couldn't "reconcile my leadership style" to that of Chief Executive Officer Kevin Gallagher's, The Australian reported Tuesday, citing an email Duhe sent to colleagues.

Santos announced Duhe's resignation on Oct. 14.

Gallagher as well as the firm's executive vice president for people and brand, Kim Lee, asked Duhe to reconsider her intention to resign. However, Chair Keith Spence informed her over the weekend that her services "are no longer needed effective immediately."

Duhe added that she was willing to serve out her six-month notice period. Duhe's computer and email access have been revoked, the publication added.

Santos declined to comment to the publication.
